Brabender's "Fiber Feeder's" design is "uniquely simple!"

A silo (storage hopper) is directly connected through a flexible sleeve to two cylinders and an outlet cone. Inside the top cylinders are round bars arranged parallel to one another with gaps between.

FlexWall Plus Feeder

Brabender's FlexWall design features the well-proven flexible polyurethane converging hopper with external massaging paddles. It also has a unique trapezoid design.

Brabender offers a popular and precise meter for liquid chemicals. Their liquid loss-in-weight feeders weigh and control the flow of continuously pumped liquid. Models are available for feed rates between 10 grams per hour and 10,000 lbs per hour to within feed rate accuracies of -0.1%.

The Brabender Single Cable Connection (SCC) Field Bus System is the latest development from Brabender Technologie to measure, control and regulate electronics for gravimetric metering feeders. It allows integration of "intelligent" Brabender weigh-feeders in installations with multi-feeders and eliminates the need to install control cabinets.

How does FlexWall® Plus achieve Mass Flow?

• The trapezoid hopper shape presents different angles to induce reliable flow.
• Non parallel paddle activation pushes and squeezes the ingredient toward the lead flight.
• The ingredient is maintained at a constant bulk density at the lead flight - there is no aeration or creation of voids.
• Ingredient moves in all parts of the hopper, there are no "dead" spaces.

The Brabender ScrewDisc Feeder is a loss-in-weight feeder with a unique metering technique particularly developed for pellets and free flowing dry ingredients. The design features a vertical metering screw interconnected with a horizontal roataing disc.

The Brabender SiloTray Feeder is a vibratory discharge and proportioning device which is suspended from the bottom of silos and bins. Special hanger arms center the unit and allow horizontal vibration.
